About VOTE Builder
VOTE Builder is operated by Story Into Screenplay LLC. It helps screenwriters, novelists, game writers, and storytellers develop characters through four questions: Victory, Obstacle, Tactics, and Emotion.
The method
Start with what your character wants. Name what's in the way. Decide how they act under pressure and what they feel. Use those choices to plan conflict, story beats, and dialogue with subtext. VOTE organizes your thinking; you write every word.
